Job summary

Bilt is seeking a Director of Technical Integrations for the Rentals team in the United States. You will bridge external property partners with internal services, configure integrations, and translate data exchange needs into actionable engineering requirements.

You will diagnose complex partner requests, guide cross-functional teams, and drive scalable improvements using AI tools and robust testing practices. This role reports to the Rentals leadership and influences product delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or managing complex system integrations in real estate, proptech, SaaS environments.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and API testing tools (e.g., Postman), with the ability to validate data independently.
• Ability to translate technical concepts (APIs, backend configurations, multi-system workflows) to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of driving issues from identification to full resolution, not just escalation.
• Preference for automation and scalable process improvements over manual workarounds.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and establishing new procedures and playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical knowledge bridge between external partners and internal teams.
• Translate client needs into documented requirements, configurations, and test plans.
• Serve as frontline escalation during peak rent-cycle periods, triaging and resolving production issues.
• Identify root causes by analyzing data patterns and coordinating across teams.
• Partner with product managers to prioritize fixes on the roadmap and ensure accountability.
• Leverage AI tools to build playbooks, automate recurring workflows, and improve processes.
• Develop and maintain technical setup guides and release materials with marketing teams.
• Monitor post-deployment performance of partner-specific screens, reports, and dashboards.
