Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Director of TBM Strategy and Planning to partner with IT leaders and drive strategy, vendor governance, and ongoing cost optimization. This role emphasizes data-driven analysis, strategic communications, and delivering insights for operating expense and delivery model decisions.

Responsibilities include leading a professional staff, establishing relationships with IT and business leaders, and guiding TBM services development to improve cost transparency and value

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, MIS, Business Analytics or Operations Research. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
8–10 years progressive Finance, Strategy or Management Consulting experience. Experience leading high performance teams.
Experience in TBM or CIO advisory work. Familiar with technology-driven environments and change management.

Responsibilities

People Management (40%) and leadership of IT strategy enablement and TBM services.
Strategy and Decision Support (40%) including cost optimization roadmaps and business case development.
Service Costing & Analytics (20%) including TBM implementation and cost transparency improvements.
