Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy or related field.
• 5–10+ years in government affairs, tax policy, or external relations.
• Experience with federal and state legislatures and regulatory agencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build influential relationships with policymakers and industry stakeholders.
• Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage state and federal associations on excise tax, regulatory, and compliance issues.
• Lead anti-illicit trade initiatives with enforcement agencies and stakeholders.
• Build and expand strategic relationships with tax-focused trade associations and partners.
• Monitor legislative/regulatory developments and craft advocacy strategies.
• Represent Reynolds American at industry meetings and coalitions.
• Collaborate to promote fair taxation and supply chain integrity.
• Identify opportunities for new partnerships and industry engagement.
