Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director of Supply Chain - Distribution & Logistics to lead large, complex client engagements for private equity and corporate clients across the U.S. Focus areas include network design, transportation optimization, and warehouse sourcing.

Deep experience in supply chain consulting and 3PL engagements is required, with travel as needed. The role offers broad leadership, development opportunities, and exposure to international and domestic assignments within A&M's

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of combined consulting and industry operating experience.
• Advisory experience from top-tier firms or Big-4 required.
• Deep expertise in distribution and logistics network optimization, transportation and warehouse sourcing, 3PL experience.
• Experience leading or modeling supply chains using software tools (e.g. Llamasoft).
• Strong fact-gathering, mapping and quantitative analysis skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements with Private Equity leadership.
• Analyze and design supply chain strategies for growth and EBITDA improvement.
• Assess network design, inventory flows and distribution costs.
• Develop transformation plans for transportation, warehousing and distribution.
• Oversee project deliverables and manage day-to-day client relationships.
• Coach and lead teams to conduct rigorous analysis.
