thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. in Hamilton, Ohio, seeks a Director of Supply Chain Management to lead end-to-end planning, material management and logistics. You will align plant strategy with business unit goals and drive continuous improvement across supply chain functions.

You will develop a high-performing team, manage budgets, and deliver cost savings while maintaining customer service and safety. A background in automotive manufacturing and strong SAP/ERP experience are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Operations Management or related field.
• At least five years of experience in a comparable supply chain management position within the automotive industry.
• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, including leading cross-functional teams and developing managers or team leaders.
• Strong expertise in demand and production planning, material management, inventory optimization and customer delivery.
• Proficiency in SAP and experience implementing or improving ERP systems; familiarity with transportation management systems.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, reduce costs and improve supply chain KPIs through analytical, data-driven decision-making.
• Strong Lean, continuous improvement, project management and change management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across plant and business unit functions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead demand, production, capacity and material planning.
• Drive the plant's sales and operations planning process to balance customer delivery, production efficiency, inventory and working capital.
• Oversee supply-chain-related customer communication, delivery commitments and escalations; lead cross-functional recovery plans.
• Proactively manage supply risks, material shortages and delivery disruptions with Purchasing, Production, Quality, Sales and suppliers.
• Own and improve the plant's supply chain KPIs: DIO, delivery performance, transport costs, warehouse costs.
• Lead internal warehouse operations and shop floor logistics; ensure safe, reliable material supply to production.
