Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Director of Supply Chain to lead product sourcing engineering, procurement, material flow, inventory, and warehousing across the North Carolina Composites group. This senior leadership role shapes supply chain strategies to fuel Anduril’s growth and meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

You will lead a cross-functional team, build supplier relationships, negotiate complex terms, and implement KPIs to monitor performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, related field (MBA preferred), or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership in aerospace & defense, propulsion, or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong background in procurement, subcontracts, material planning, and warehouse/inventory operations.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements and deliver results on cost, schedule, and quality.
• Experience scaling supply chain organizations during high growth or production ramps.
• Executive presence with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work onsite at our campus in Morrisville, North Carolina.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals for continuity, quality, efficiency and cost optimization while enabling growth.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and drive performance management for quality, delivery, and cost.
• Negotiate complex commercial terms with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms.
• Collaborate with other supply chain experts to develop and execute best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, program management, finance, and manufacturing operations to negotiate trade-offs and resolve problems.
• Define KPIs and track supply chain health to drive improvements.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and report to management on performance.
• Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals; hire and develop talent.
• Identify and mitigate risks to the supply chain (disruptions, market changes).
• Optimize material flow, warehousing, handling, staging, and delivery across sites.
• Conduct make/buy analysis and evaluate vertical integration strategies.
• Develop inventory solutions and ensure accuracy to balance efficiency and program needs.
• Oversee base-cost initiatives to preserve value in defense contracting.
• Support capture teams with supply chain expertise for bids and proposals.
• Lead strategic supplier selection to meet technical and scheduling requirements.
