Job summary

Anduril Industries in North Carolina seeks a Director of Supply Chain to lead sourcing engineering, procurement, inventory, and warehousing for the composites group. You will shape strategies and collaborate with engineering, program management, and finance.

This senior role requires 10+ years in aerospace/defense, a Bachelor’s degree, onsite work in Morrisville, and ability to obtain US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership in aerospace/defense or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong background in procurement, subcontracts, material planning and warehouse operations.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements and deliver results on cost, schedule and quality.
• Experience scaling supply chain organizations during high growth or production ramps.
• Executive presence with exceptional communication and stakeholder management.
• Able to work onsite at Morrisville, NC; travel up to 10%.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligning with business goals for continuity, quality, efficiency and cost optimization.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive performance to meet quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Negotiate complex terms to establish pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, payment, warranty and service terms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share best practices and drive improvements.
• Define KPIs and monitor supply chain health; report to management.
• Lead and grow a team of supply chain professionals and recruit top talent.
• Identify risks and mitigate disruptions to supply chain operations.
• Optimize material flow, warehousing, and staging to support multi-site production.
• Conduct make/buy analyses and assess vertical integration opportunities.
• Support capture teams with supply chain input for bids and proposals.
• Lead strategic source selection to meet demanding technical and schedule requirements.
