Job summary

Confidential Jobs is seeking a hands-on, analytical supply chain leader to bring structure to purchasing, demand planning, and inventory management. You will own inventory strategy, turns, aging, excess/obsolete inventory, safety stock, reorder points, and service levels.

You will build and manage formal demand planning and forecasting processes, lead monthly S&OP across Sales, Finance, Purchasing, and Operations, and develop supplier scorecards to drive performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Strong experience in demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
• Experience leading purchasing/procurement and cross-functional planning processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and planning systems.
• Retail experience is a plus, especially SKU-level forecasting, seasonality, promotions, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory strategy, turns, aging, excess/obsolete inventory, safety stock, reorder points, and service levels.
• Build and manage formal demand planning and forecasting processes.
• Lead monthly S&OP across Sales, Finance, Purchasing, and Operations.
• Lead the purchasing team and establish disciplined purchasing policies and processes.
• Develop supplier scorecards and drive supplier performance, pricing, lead times, and reliability.
• Identify supply constraints and proactively manage shortages and supply-chain risks.
• Improve ERP/MRP and planning-system discipline while reducing reliance on spreadsheets.
• Partner with Finance on inventory targets, working capital, and cash impact.
• Establish and report key KPIs including inventory turns, forecast accuracy, OTIF, fill rate, stockouts, and working capital.
