Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking a Principal Product Procurement Specialist to lead complex procurement activities and supplier management across our supply chain. You will drive cost analysis, RFPs, negotiations, and ensure contractual compliance while supporting customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

The role requires collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to optimize cost, quality, and delivery, delivering procurement solutions to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3 years experience, or in absence of a degree, 9 years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorizations required.

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement processes, including RFPs, negotiation preparation, and cost analysis.
• Support purchasing for goods, materials, supplies, and services with best-interest terms.
• Prepare POs, support payment approvals, and negotiate pricing under general guidance.
• Analyze supplier quotations and financial data to support pricing decisions.
• Prepare RFPs, bid packages, and procurement documentation for new opportunities.
• Monitor supplier and contract performance for compliance with terms.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders and procurement matters.
• Coordinate with suppliers to schedule/deliver and resolve shortages.
