Job summary

AbbVie in the United States is seeking a Director of Strategy, Analytics and Business Insights to partner with CDO leadership and drive data-driven decisions across R&D. You will translate trends into actionable recommendations and lead cross-functional initiatives that transform operations into a data-centric organization.

Reporting to the Director II and serving as Chief of Staff to the Head of Clinical Acceleration, you will influence senior leaders and shape flagship analytics programs.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify trends with CDO VPs and Sr. Directors to drive action steps and lead cross-functional teams
• Communicate context, insights and objective analysis to CDO LT and other R&D leaders to support decision making
• Support CDO LT in planning, organizing, implementing, and maintaining strategies and initiatives
• Present key findings and insights at executive leadership meetings and follow up with additional analysis as required
• Maintain and evolve existing processes for gathering, summarizing, and distributing relevant industry benchmarks / trends relevant to AbbVie’s pipeline
• Develop reporting and new ways to measure trends to monitor Clinical Study KPIs, as well as leading / lagging indicators on improvement projects that support the transformation of becoming a data-centric organization
• Provides strategic direction across system owners, ensuring integrity of the data and the systems used to support AbbVie’s clinical trials
• Anticipates emerging technology/methodology needs that can support the utilization of our data to produce efficiencies and create new value proposition
• Conduct ad-hoc short-term consulting projects to answer critical questions from leadership
