Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; PhD or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a top-tier consulting firm with healthcare experience.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior leaders.
• Strong analytical skills with working knowledge of financial concepts.
• Strong oral, facilitation, and written communication skills.
• Executive presence, comfort with ambiguity, and strong judgment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate enterprise discussions on external trends, competitor strategies and potential disruptors, and translate these to strategic choices.
• Shape our corporate priorities; drive clarity and alignment on our sources of growth (therapeutic areas, modalities, platform capabilities, etc.).
• Lead high-priority strategic initiatives that will drive transformative change and position AbbVie for future success.
• Provide targeted support for AbbVie's long-range strategic planning process, including working with leaders to share their strategies with AbbVie's Board of Directors.
• Partner with and advise senior leadership team on topics relevant to their own functional areas.
• Support communication of AbbVie’s strategy across the enterprise.
