Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Finance Lead in Center of Excellence Clinical Trials to translate strategy into data, dashboards, insights and scalable forecasting across the organization.

You will build and maintain analytics, automate processes, and partner with Clinical Development Operations to connect financial and operational data. This role emphasizes AI-enabled forecasting and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; Finance/Accounting/Life Sciences preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive finance experience.
• Ability to translate business problems into practical data and technology solutions.
• Experience developing dashboards, reporting solutions, analytics, or financial systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with large, complex datasets.
• Strong interest in AI, automation, analytics and emerging finance technologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex data into insights for Finance and business stakeholders.
• Help establish a trusted data foundation for clinical trial forecasting.
• Develop analytics to validate forecasting assumptions and identify risks.
• Support the development and enhancement of systems for forecasting.
• Help design and implement the new financial forecasting system.
• Maintain dashboards linking financial and operational data.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development Operations, BTS and other functions.
• Test and scale AI-enabled capabilities.
• Partner with embedded forecasters to align business needs.
