Job summary

Heartland Dental seeks a Director of Strategic Sourcing to design and drive cross-category sourcing strategies. You will own end-to-end sourcing for strategic initiatives, conduct market assessments, and secure competitive contracts that deliver measurable financial value.

You will partner with senior leaders to challenge spend, lead negotiations, and develop a high-performing team while improving supplier performance and market economics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Finance, or a related discipline, or 5+ years in Management Consulting.
• Proven track record leading complex sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and commercial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across Heartland's spend categories.
• Partner with business leaders to understand requirements and identify cost/operational improvements.
• Own end-to-end sourcing for strategic initiatives including RFPs, negotiations, and contracting.
• Develop financial and operational analyses to quantify opportunities and value.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Strategic Sourcing team and influence senior stakeholders.
