Job summary

Amgen seeks a Director, Strategic Planning & Operations to ensure effective BHBU operations in the US and lead critical growth initiatives. You will report to the VP/GM BHBU and work with marketing, sales, and cross-functional partners to align priorities and execute.

You will drive strategic projects, governance, and cross-functional transformation, including AI adoption and operating-model evolution, delivering measurable value for patients.

Qualifications

• Masters degree with 7+ years of project management experience, OR a bachelor's degree with 9+ years.
• At least 4 years of leadership experience leading teams, projects, or programs.
• Experience in commercial biopharmaceutical contexts and cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for BHBU, coordinating across Marketing, Sales, and cross-functional partners.
• Lead and coordinate annual and long-range planning processes with alignment on priorities and milestones.
• Drive performance-management processes, including governance, reporting, insights, and action planning.
• Interface with Global partners to support alignment and information sharing.
