Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Director, BI Reporting, Sensing & Executive Analytics to lead the US-based analytics platform strategy. This role shapes data architecture, AI-enabled decision support, and enterprise reporting, coordinating global teams to deliver proactive insights.

You will translate senior leadership priorities into scalable roadmaps, manage people and programs, and champion strong engineering and UX practices to ensure business-relevant solutions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s/Bachelor with extensive related experience and leadership.
• Experience directly managing people and leading teams.
• Strong technical credibility in data and engineering, executive engagement, and curiosity about AI in analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical vision and roadmap for BI reporting, sensing, executive analytics, and AI-enabled decision support platforms.
• Serve as the U.S.-based leader for the analytics and engineering teams, guiding data, analytics, and AI solutions across architecture, platforms, and delivery.
• Advance analytics capabilities including natural-language analytics, proactive insights, generative AI, and AI-agent experiences.
• Translate senior leadership priorities into technical investment choices, capability plans, and execution roadmaps.
• Build relationships with business leaders, product partners, and global delivery teams to align strategy and adoption.
• Provide leadership visibility on progress, dependencies, risks, and decisions for scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Champion engineering, product, and user experience practices to ensure intuitive, business-relevant outcomes.
