Amgen is seeking a Director of Strategic Planning & Operations for the Bone Health Business Unit in the U.S. The role partners with Marketing, Sales, and cross-functional teams to drive strategic planning, governance, and execution, while leading transformative projects and AI-enabled improvements.

The position offers senior leadership exposure, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to shape operating practices that deliver value to patients.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 7 years of project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree + 9 years of project management experience.
• 4 years of leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for BHBU across Marketing, Sales, and partners.
• Lead cross-functional strategic projects advancing BHBU strategy and operating model.
• Drive adoption of AI tools to enhance analytics and decision-making.
• Translate strategic priorities into integrated plans with measurable outcomes.
• Interface with Global partners to ensure alignment and information sharing.
