Job summary

Vālenz Health® is seeking a Director, Strategic Partnerships – Employer Markets to drive development of strategic partnerships across the employer and employee benefits market.

You’ll build executive relationships, design value-based partnership models, and lead cross-functional teams to convert opportunities into scalable, revenue-generating programs. This fully remote role requires 10+ years in healthcare business development and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in healthcare business development or related field.
• Strong knowledge of employer-sponsored healthcare and employee benefits ecosystem.
• Proven success launching complex strategic partnerships.
• Executive presence with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic partnership plans across employer/employee benefits market.
• Identify and pursue high-value opportunities with brokers, employers, benefits platforms.
• Build a portfolio of opportunities with distribution, market access or growth potential.
• Establish executive-level relationships and align priorities for mutual value.
• Design partnership models and value propositions with commercial value.
• Develop business cases evaluating market opportunity, revenue potential, and risks.
• Lead complex partnerships from exploration through due diligence and launch.
• Negotiate economics, pricing, revenue sharing, and commercial terms with leadership.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to evaluate opportunities and implement initiatives.
• Oversee implementation, governance and success metrics for market adoption.
• Transition partnerships to Strategic Account Management for ongoing growth.
