Job summary

Summit Therapeutics is a Boston-area field-based role focusing on Market Access. The Key Account Director will establish strategic relationships across IDNs, Academic Centers, regional health systems, and community networks to drive rapid product adoption and alignment with treatment pathways.

The role requires leading cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Legal, Marketing, and Commercial to ensure successful integration of Summit’s therapies within provider pathways and to manage

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years in strategic account management, market access, or oncology commercial roles.
• Oncology reimbursement, economic flows, and market dynamics knowledge.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills for executive stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation with proven outcomes aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Translate national brand and access strategies into actionable engagement plans with IDNs and academic centers.
• Lead account strategy to accelerate clinical pathway inclusion post-launch with cross-functional teams.
• Establish and maintain B2B and C-suite relationships with key accounts.
• Build multi-level relationships with healthcare decision-makers across oncology accounts.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Legal, Marketing to align therapies in provider pathways.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with key accounts and internal stakeholders.
