BMG RIGHTS MANAGEMENT GmbH - Corporate in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Director of Corporate Development & M&A to shape opportunities that define the company’s next chapter. You will partner with the executive team and cross-functional leaders to translate high-priority ideas into decision-ready plans and measurable value.

You will drive analyses, strategic options, and the development of growth platforms, including partnerships and M&A, while supporting governance and shareholder communications

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional experience in strategy consulting or equivalent corporate strategy/M&A roles.
• Strong passion for innovation and digital media; entertainment/music industry experience is a plus.
• Outstanding problem-structuring and qualitative/quantitative analytical skills with attention to detail.
• First-class written and verbal communication in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence without formal authority.
• Highly autonomous, proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with strong organizational skills.
• Adaptable to ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
• Collaborates effectively as part of high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop market, trend and competitor analyses to identify opportunities.
• Distill data-backed strategic options and clear recommendations.
• Structure, mobilize and drive value-creation initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Lead growth platforms via corporate innovation, partnerships and strategic M&A assessment.
• Support governance and shareholder alignment with market insights and priorities.
• Prepare regular communications for stakeholders on market developments and priorities.
