The role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Strategic Finance team. This role involves providing financial leadership and strategic insights to key business lines, including SoFi Checking & Savings and SoFi Credit Card. You will focus on financial visibility, accountability, process improvement, scalability, and automation.

Responsibilities

1. Facilitate financial forecasting in collaboration with Business Unit leaders and stakeholders.
2. Act as a strategic partner to monitor KPIs and develop insights.
3. Support teams in prioritizing initiatives and making decisions based on financial impact.
4. Present financial analyses and business updates to leadership.
5. Recommend investment opportunities considering financial and strategic factors.
6. Collaborate with Accounting on complex issues.
7. Manage a small team to achieve goals effectively.
8. Promote an inclusive and positive culture aligned with company values.

Minimum qualifications

1. 12+ years of experience in finance-related roles such as FP&A, banking, investment, or consulting.
2. Experience in presenting to decision makers.
3. Strong analytical and communication skills.
4. Expertise in financial modeling and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, or Google suite.
5. Experience with FP&A systems.
6. Ability to build cross-functional relationships and work in fast-paced environments.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Preferred qualifications

1. FP&A experience in financial services.
2. Understanding of Credit Card economics and P&L.
3. People management experience.
