As the Sr. Associate, Strategic Finance at Talkiatry, you will be at the forefront of driving our financial strategy and ensuring our continued growth and success. You will have the unique opportunity to partner across the organization to drive strategic decision-making by leveraging data and analysis. This role demands a highly analytical and strategic thinker who can rapidly dissect complex quantitative problems and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

This high-impact, highly visible role is part of the Strategic Finance team, which is essential in shaping our long-term business strategy and execution.

About us:

Talkiatry transforms psychiatry with accessible, human, and responsible care. We’re a national mental health practice co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality treatment.

You will:

1. Collaborate with functional business leaders across the organization to drive strategy and operational rigor within Talkiatry’s revenue growth pillars.
2. Build financial forecasts and targets, track performance, and analyze deviations from actuals to provide insights into the financial health of revenue growth pillars.
3. Continuously improve the accuracy of forecasts through a deep understanding of business performance and drivers.
4. Leverage financial and operational data to evaluate new business opportunities and provide recommendations to senior leadership teams.
5. Define, track, and monitor metrics and key performance indicators; partner with the Data team to develop tools and dashboards to make these metrics widely accessible across Talkiatry.
6. Support and lead various financial work streams including the month-end close process, Board materials, investor reporting, and fundraising activities.

You have:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
2. 4-6 years of professional experience, ideally in a mix of financial services (Investment Banking / Private Equity) and highly analytical roles at a fast-growing company (Strategic Finance / Strategy & Ops / BizOps).
3. Exceptional analytical skills, including advanced Excel and SQL proficiency, with a proven ability to digest large amounts of data and focus on the most important details.
4. Strong analytical mindset with expert financial modeling abilities and the capacity to translate data into actionable insights, strategies, and financial plans.
5. Valuing precision and accuracy in work, with the ability to quickly dissect complex quantitative problems.
6. Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and interact confidently with others.
7. High-energy, high-integrity leadership style; ability to prioritize long-term projects and urgent requests in a fast-paced environment.
8. High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive communications.
9. Ownership & initiative, proactively identifying opportunities, solving problems, and driving projects with minimal oversight.

Compensation range for this position starts at $140,000, with up to a 15% performance bonus, depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend on role specifics, location, and individual qualifications.
