Role Overview
We seek an experienced Director, Strategic Finance to develop and lead our finance function, implementing AI-driven analytical frameworks to influence key business decisions. You will partner with senior leaders to inform resource allocation, define KPIs, own financial modeling, and identify growth opportunities. The role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in high-growth environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Functional Ownership: Lead strategic finance, advise senior leaders, influence business decisions.
2. Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Manage long-term financial models, embed across business units.
3. Decision Support: Provide financial insights, scenario analysis, market and unit economics understanding.
4. Corporate Development Support: Analyze external data, market trends, and competitors.
5. Board & Investor Relations: Prepare and present financial insights and forecasts.
6. Business Case Development: Build models for projects, ROI, LTV/CAC, payback analysis.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Drive alignment on budgets and strategic goals.
8. KPI Development & Tracking: Define and monitor key performance indicators.
9. Team & Culture Building: Hire, mentor, foster a high-performance, data-driven culture.
10. AI Process Improvement: Leverage AI tools to streamline forecasting and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Business (MBA/CFA preferred).
• 10-12+ years in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or corporate strategy, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and business partnering skills.
• Strong financial modeling, SaaS, and usage-based business metrics understanding.
• Ability to analyze ambiguous situations and communicate complex data simply.
• Proficiency in Excel, BI tools (Tableau), financial planning tools, and AI tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-driven forecasting and process improvements.
• Experience building and scaling a strategic finance team.
