Job summary

Guidehouse Inc. is seeking a Director to lead growth across state and local government in our South market. You will manage a portfolio of client engagements, direct consulting staff, and drive new business in courts, justice agencies, and related public sector domains.

The role requires extensive leadership, strategic oversight, and deep knowledge of public sector procurement and modernization initiatives. Travel up to 25% is expected, with opportunities to shape a growing practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 10+ years total work experience (excluding internships, part-time roles, co-ops, fellowships, and academic research).
• Strong relationships with leaders across state and local government, preferably courts, justice agencies or other public sector institutions.
• Experience leading state and local government new business pursuits and proposals with proven results.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage a portfolio of client engagements and consulting staff, ensuring targets and deliverables are met.
• Strategize with teams on project approach, facilitate communications, and manage risk.
• Drive quality and standards of work product and maintain superior engagement quality.
• Build relationships with executives across state and local government,especially courts and justice agencies at multiple levels.
• Support clients in addressing operational, administrative, and modernization challenges.
