The position requires a strong network in New York City government, excellent communication, and the ability to travel up to 75%+. The candidate should have a solid background in public sector consulting and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
• 8+ years of experience in the public sector.
• 4+ years of experience in State & Local Government.
• Strong problem-solving and innovative solution development.
• Familiarity with NYC Government practices.
• Strong professional network in NYC gov.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage projects and junior staff.
• Willingness to travel to client locations and GH offices.

Responsibilities

• Help drive business development across NYC government clients.
• Lead delivery teams on State & Local Government engagements.
• Gather information from clients on structure, process, tech and culture.
• Facilitate client meetings to gather information.
• Identify and implement program improvements for clients.
• Coach and provide feedback to project resources.
