Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant in the Boston area to actively manage a portfolio of government engagements, lead delivery, and ensure contractual targets are met. You will strategize with teams, manage risk, and maintain executive relationships across state agencies.

You will also drive new business opportunities, mentor staff, and promote best practices while ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal policies. Strong leadership and program management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Seven (7+) years relevant government or consulting experience.
• Three (3+) years leading large-scale programs or engagements with state agencies.
• Existing network within state government, preferably in the New England region.
• Proven ability to lead state government new business pursuits and proposals with proven results.
• Excellent program/project management skills with demonstrated experience leading large multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage a portfolio of client engagements and ensure contractual targets and deliverables are met.
• Strategize with consultant teams on project approach, facilitate communications, and manage risk.
• Maintain relationships with executives at state agencies and promote compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the economics of client engagements to align with financial parameters.
• Lead new business opportunities and serve as a content expert for client issues.
