Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced leader to manage a portfolio of state, local, and federal health and human services engagements. You will strategize with teams, drive quality, and maintain executive relationships across agencies, including Medicaid leadership.

You will develop best practices, ensure policy compliance, and oversee financial performance of engagements. The role focuses on system modernization, digital transformation, and operational improvements within state programs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, public health, healthcare, or a related field.
• 10+ years of total experience including industry, research, or consulting
• 10+ years leading state health and human services agencies
• Existing strong relationships with health and human services agency leaders
• Demonstrated ability to lead new business pursuits and proposals
• Excellent program/project management skills with large multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Actively manage a portfolio of state, local, and federal government client engagements and consulting staff
• Strategize with consultant teams on project approach, facilitate communications, and manage risk across active engagements
• Drive quality and standards of work product and ensure engagement quality for HHS technology challenges
• Build and maintain relationships with executives at state HHS departments
• Lead and instill best practices across consulting engagements
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and internal policy requirements
• Manage the economics of client engagements and align delivery with financial parameters
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Medicaid Directors and health and human services leadership
