Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Director, Stakeholder Strategy Lead for ILD / Lung to drive lifecycle-based external engagement with healthcare professionals and experts.

You will define engagement priorities, map expert landscapes, and align medical and commercial objectives across assets and functions. The role requires ownership of annual engagement strategy, collaboration with Medical Affairs, and leadership of a high-performing Stakeholder Operations team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, medical, business or related discipline with 10+ years of pharma/healthcare experience or,
• Advanced degree with 8+ years in related field and progressive external stakeholder engagement responsibilities.
• Proven ability to map, tier and prioritize external expert landscape and to own annual strategy and planning cycles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills with senior external experts and organizations.

Responsibilities

• Own annual TA stakeholder engagement strategy and integrated engagement plan.
• Map and tier external experts and centers of excellence.
• Coordinate cross-functional engagement governance across Medical Affairs, MSLs, and commercial teams.
• Lead strategic partnerships and consolidate engagement plans across assets and functions.
