Cardinal Health Innovative Care Pharmacy, a division of Cardinal Health, seeks a Director of Business Development to lead the sale of specialty pharmacy services to pharmaceutical manufacturers. You will manage senior relationships, develop strategic accounts, and drive revenue growth across cell and gene therapies from a remote, nationwide base.

The role requires executive presence, strong negotiation and forecasting skills, and a proven track record in high-growth healthcare sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or commensurate experience.
• 5-8 years healthcare sales experience preferred.
• 3+ years selling specialty pharmacy services preferred.
• General knowledge of specialty market, including cell and gene therapies.
• Proven ability to operate in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments.
• Demonstrated ability to convert relationships to sales.

Responsibilities

• Grow contracts between Innovative Care Pharmacy and specialty manufacturers.
• Call on senior leadership in targeted pharmaceutical manufacturers.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
• Act as primary contact for potential customers in cell, gene, and advanced therapies.
• Establish and execute comprehensive sales plans for target accounts.
• Serve as client manager for existing clients and expand bases.
• Develop and generate new business development leads.
• Coordinate with the 3PL team and attend client meetings as needed.
• Prepare price quotations and participate in bid/proposal processes.
• Travel up to 30% and work in a remote, nationwide capacity.
