Job summary

Cardinal Health Innovative Care Pharmacy, a division of Cardinal Health, seeks a Director of Business Development to sell specialty pharmacy services to pharmaceutical manufacturers and manage those drugs within our pharmacy.

This remote, nationwide role requires a consultative approach to articulate Cardinal Health's value proposition and to exceed revenue targets in a fast-growing specialty market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commiserate experience.
• 5–8 years healthcare sales experience preferred.
• 3+ years selling specialty pharmacy services.
• Strong knowledge of the specialty market, including cell and gene therapies.

Responsibilities

• Grow contracts between Innovative Care Pharmacy and specialty manufacturers.
• Call on senior leadership in targeted pharmaceutical manufacturers.
• Develop deep knowledge of customer organizations and product portfolios.
• Establish and execute a comprehensive sales plan for each target account.
• Manage client relationships and expand current accounts.
• Develop and generate new business leads and opportunities.
