Job summary

HarbourVest Partners is seeking a Director, Client Onboarding in Boston for end-to-end onboarding of SMA clients and employee enrollments. You will coordinate across Legal, Solutions, Client Service, Compliance, Tax, Treasury, Fund Accounting, and Admins to ensure smooth mandates from award to servicing.

You’ll lead complex onboarding initiatives, manage risk and drive improvements in processes, tools, and governance, while partnering with leadership and clients for an exceptional onboarding

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex onboarding or operational programs.
• Strong governance, project plans and reporting experience.
• Ability to manage risks and coordinate multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and implementation of SMA client and employee onboarding.
• Coordinate across Legal, Solutions, Client Service, Compliance, Tax and other teams.
• Establish governance forums, readiness assessments and status reporting.
• Translate agreements into actionable processes and servicing models.
• Identify and lead onboarding risks, dependencies, and issues.
• Drive process improvement and technology enhancements for efficiency.
• Support leadership reporting, capacity planning and critical initiatives.
