Job summary

HarbourVest Partners, LLC is seeking a Director, Client Onboarding Technology to lead our onboarding tech initiatives and ensure efficient, compliant processes end-to-end. The role requires extensive experience in asset management onboarding and technology delivery, with strong Salesforce integration capabilities.

You will partner with Compliance, Legal, Tax, and Operations, drive data standards, and manage vendor relationships in a hybrid work environment. MBA preferred for strategic leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; MBA preferred.
• 10-15 years in client onboarding, operations, product management, or technology delivery within asset management, private markets, or financial services.
• Experience implementing client onboarding or subscription platforms and Salesforce integrations.
• Knowledge of onboarding regulatory requirements (KYC, AML, investor qualification, tax documents).

Responsibilities

• Define vision, operating model, and roadmap for onboarding technology.
• Lead platform delivery and integration with Salesforce across the onboarding lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Tax, Client Operations, and Investor Relations.
• Define data standards and dashboards for pipeline, aging, and completeness.
• Lead change management, vendor coordination, and risk management.
