Job summary

HarbourVest Partners (U.K.) Limited seeks a Director, Client Onboarding to lead end-to-end onboarding and implementation for SMA clients and employee enrollments. You will coordinate across Legal, Solutions, Client Service, Compliance, Tax, Treasury and Fund Accounting to ensure seamless handoffs from opportunity through servicing.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in finance client onboarding, strong project management, and a client-first mindset, with the ability to manage risk and governance

Qualifications

• 7+ years of finance experience in client onboarding
• Experience leading cross-functional onboarding projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to identify and mitigate operational, regulatory, and client service risks
• Proficiency with governance frameworks, project plans, reporting and controls

Responsibilities

• Lead the onboarding and implementation of SMA clients and employee enrollments from intake through servicing handoff
• Coordinate activities across Legal, Solutions, Client Service, Compliance, Tax, Treasury, Reporting, Fund Accounting and other key collaborators
• Establish governance forums, onboarding trackers, risk registers, readiness assessments, and status reporting
• Identify, raise, and lead onboarding risks, dependencies, and issues
• Drive process improvement, standardization, and technology enhancement initiatives
• Support leadership reporting, capacity planning, and critical onboarding initiatives
