Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic execution, customer engagement, and long‑range planning for the SSIS portfolio.
• Manage performance across engineering, depot, production, sustainment, modernization, and fleet‑emergent operations.
• Oversee proposal activity (> $500M annually), drive strategy aligned with Navy mission needs, develop talent, and interface with senior Navy leadership (O‑6/O‑7).
• Work closely with the NSS Vice President and other members of the NSS team on leadership tasks including short- and long-term goal setting; long‑range financial planning; and organizational development.
• Program Leader responsible for execution, staff development, and cross‑portfolio engagement to meet cost and schedule commitments.
• Execute with Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTLs) and lead engineering staff across multiple functions to improve efficiency with actionable metrics.

The Naval Systems & Sustainment (NSS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit is seeking a Director of Program Management to lead the Ship Systems Integration & Sustainment (SSIS) portfolio. This position oversees a $450M annual portfolio, 70+ active contracts exceeding $3B in funded value, and a geographically dispersed organization of over 600 employees across nine Raytheon sites. The Director will provide strategic leadership across sustainment, modernization, engineering, depot operations, production, and fleet emergent activity.

• This is an onsite position at our Tewksbury, MA facility

• Lead strategic execution, customer engagement, and long‑range planning for the SSIS portfolio.
