Job summary

RTX is recruiting a Director of Program Management to lead the Ship Systems Integration & Sustainment portfolio from our Tewksbury, MA site. You will oversee a $450M annual portfolio, 70+ contracts, and a distributed team of 600+ across nine Raytheon sites, delivering cost and schedule commitments with strong leadership.

Responsibilities include strategy, customer engagement, and talent development while interfacing with Navy leadership and IPTLs to improve efficiency and execution.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with EVMS, Risk and Opportunity Management, EACs.
• Experience leading proposals and franchise capture.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations and finance.
• Experience reporting on program metrics, schedules and status.
• Program management experience and leadership of teams.
• PM Level 2 certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy execution and long-range planning for the SSIS portfolio.
• Manage performance across engineering, depot, production, sustainment, modernization, and fleet-emergent operations.
• Oversee >$500M annual proposals and drive Navy-aligned strategy.
• Develop talent and interface with senior Navy leadership.
• Collaborate with IPTLs and engineering staff to improve efficiency with actionable metrics.
• Travel 30%–50% as needed.
