Job summary

People Inc. (NY) is seeking a Program Director to lead Self-directed Services within the Community Based Services Department.

You will oversee program operations, provide guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and support staff across the Self-Direction program. The role emphasizes audits, budgeting oversight, policy development, staff supervision, and collaboration with plan owners to address questions and incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of experience and education.
• Must have NY State Broker Credentials or to be completed upon hire.
• Knowledge of OPWDD regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of self-directed programs, including regulations, finances and day-to-day operations.
• Ensure program readiness for reviews and surveys; assist with audit follow-ups.
• Supervise Fiscal Intermediary Representatives and Self-Direction Specialists.
