People Inc. is seeking a Program Director to manage Self-directed Services in the Community Based Services Department. The role provides oversight, guidance and support to Self-Directed Services within the Management Team.

Responsibilities include audits, policy development, supervision of FI Representatives and Self-Direction Specialists, and ensuring Medicaid billing accuracy and resource recoupment. Strong regulation knowledge and NY credentials are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree preferred or combination of experience and education.
• Must have NY State Broker Credentials or completed upon hire.
• Knowledge of OPWDD regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Aufgaben

• Maintain knowledge base of self-directed programs, regulations, finances, and operations.
• Ensure readiness for external/internal reviews and surveys; coordinate follow-up with Compliance Analyst.
• Supervise Fiscal Intermediary Representatives and Self-Direction Specialists.
• Develop policies for self-directed services relating to billing and regulations.
• Oversee invoices and staff payroll to recoup agency resources.
• Review budget item documentation to meet Medicaid billing standards.
• Approve hiring, status changes, and pay rate changes per plans.
• Assist FI Representatives in plan-owner communications and staff coaching.
• Coordinate incident management and follow up on notifications.
• Ensure programs are high quality with continuous improvement.
• Lead new projects supporting agency strategic plans.
• Provide financial and budgeting oversight as assigned.
• Comply with all agency policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
