Job summary

EDB, a data and AI platform company, seeks a VP-level security leader to own security operations and engineering, reporting to the CISO. You will design threat detection, incident response, and preventive controls across teams, cloud environments, and acquisitions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing security teams
• 7+ years hands-on in security operations, incident response, detection, or security engineering
• Experience scaling a security function through rapid growth
• Ability to translate technical risk into business impact for executives
• Comfort in a global, remote-first environment with flexible schedules and on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response end-to-end with cross-functional partners
• Oversee detection engineering and cloud security platforms
• Set preventive controls and least privilege across the organization
• Drive insider threat and identity assurance programs
• Automate security workflows and scale with automation
• Integrate security for acquisitions and new environments
• Partner with IT and Product leadership on roadmaps
