Job summary

Erasca, Inc. is a clinical-stage precision oncology company seeking an Associate Director or Director of SEC Reporting & SOX Compliance to support external reporting under US GAAP, manage 10-K/10-Q/8-K processes, and strengthen internal controls.

Reporting to the SVP, Accounting, this role blends technical accounting research with cross-functional collaboration in a fast-growing biopharma environment. The ideal candidate has CPA, 10+ years of accounting experience, and familiarity with NetSuite,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years accounting experience; public accounting and life science experience preferred.
  • CPA designation required.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and Active Disclosure preferred.
  • Experience in a SOX 404(b) compliant environment required.
  • Strong US GAAP, SEC reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley knowledge.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute external SEC financial reporting (10-K/10-Q/8-K).
  • Research, interpret, and document technical accounting conclusions.
  • Proactively lead process improvements in financial reporting.
  • Lead SOX 404(b) compliance, design and document internal controls.
  • Coordinate with outsourced internal audit and external auditors.
  • Monitor SOX impact of changes and update control frameworks.
  • Assist with monthly accounting close duties.
  • Provide guidance on SOX and accounting matters to control owners.
  • Complete special projects and financial analyses.
