Erasca, Inc. is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on discovering and developing medicines aimed at erasing cancer.

We are seeking an Associate Director/Director of SEC Reporting & SOX Compliance to lead SEC filings, technical accounting research, and SOX controls in a US GAAP framework. The role reports to the SVP, Accounting and requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to drive process improvements across finance and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of accounting experience; public accounting and life sciences experience preferred.
• Experience at a commercial biotechnology company is a plus.
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and Active Disclosure preferred.
• SOX 404(b) compliant environment experience required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley 404.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute external SEC financial reporting processes (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and proxy statements.
• Research, interpret and document technical accounting conclusions.
• Lead SOX 404(b) compliance efforts and design internal controls.
• Coordinate with outsourced internal audit firm for testing and remediation.
• Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
• Monitor changes in business operations for SOX impact and update controls.
