Job summary

Saransh Inc in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Director SAM to lead the commercial side of Software Asset Management. You will own portfolio strategy, renewals, and vendor negotiations, coordinating with SAM Operations and Finance to optimize spend and compliance.

You will oversee high-value software negotiations, establish governance, and drive multi-year roadmap aligned to technology strategy, with a focus on saving and risk management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software commercial management, SAM, or related disciplines, including leadership of teams or complex programs.
• Portfolio leadership in large, multi-publisher enterprise software with significant financial/operational impact.
• Proven negotiation of high-value software deals with Tier-1 publishers.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS, subscriptions, cloud, and licensing models.
• Ability to build business cases, model total cost, and manage forecasts.
• Fluency with software terms, license usage rights, audit provisions, and renewal protections.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial lifecycle for enterprise software: portfolio strategy, renewals, sourcing, negotiations, contracting coordination, and spend governance.
• Lead end-to-end renewal and procurement processes with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage vendor negotiations strategy across pricing, terms, and exit rights; be the senior commercial escalation point.
• Move approved demand through sourcing, contracting, and purchase execution with collaboration across legal, security, and architecture.
• Drive rightsizing, consolidation, and cost-saving initiatives using data on entitlement and usage.
