Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Director of Salesforce Platform to own the enterprise Salesforce ecosystem, set vision and investment priorities, and govern multi‑team delivery across FMS, SCS, and RLM.

The role chairs the Salesforce CoE, drives platform health, security, and data integrity, and partners with executives to align priorities and maximize business value. The leader will establish governance to enable safe innovation, reuse capabilities, and strong service outcomes while managing risk,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 10 years in progressive technology leadership with responsibility for enterprise platforms.
• Extensive experience leading Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS/CRM platforms in large, multi‑unit environments.
• Experience establishing or maturing a Salesforce CoE, platform operating model, governance, and portfolio management.
• Strong executive stakeholder management, vendor negotiations, financial planning, and benefit realization.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise Salesforce strategy, roadmap, governance, and CoE operations.
• Maintain platform health, security, reliability, and risk across Salesforce instances.
• Lead cross‑functional relationships with Sales Ops, Service, Product, Security, EA, Data, and more.
• Set standards for architecture, configuration, integration, data, and DevSecOps practices.
• Oversee rationalization, consolidation, and lifecycle management of Salesforce assets.
• Own platform financial planning, licensing optimization, and vendor management.
