Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an Associate Business Development Director for Safety & Regulatory Solutions. The role focuses on driving sales across a broad US territory, including Boston, NY/NJ, VA/DC, and CA regions.

You will manage the full sales cycle, coordinate with SMEs, and expand the product portfolio while staying abreast of evolving regulatory guidelines. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in life sciences sales, experience with senior management, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

6+ years selling professional services in life sciences.
Experience with senior management in fast-paced growth environments.
Full sales cycle experience: prospect, identify, propose, negotiate, close.
Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
Willing to travel up to 50% across the US.

Responsibilities

Prospect accounts focusing on Safety and Regulatory products and services.
Identify and develop new accounts and follow up on existing leads.
Develop and maintain productive relationships with key target accounts.
Manage assigned accounts to generate both incremental and repeatable annual business.
Initiate and manage RFI and RFP processes and negotiate terms.
Collaborate with Professional Services to ensure delivery of software and services.
Expand sale of product portfolio in the Safety and Regulatory market.
Collaborate with Executives and SMEs to maximize account coverage.
Stay updated on regulatory guidelines affecting the industry.
