Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Director, Sales & Operations Planning in Florham Park, NJ (Hybrid) to align commercial demand, capacity and financial goals across East Region facilities. Reports to CFO / VP Finance, East Region.

Requires MBA and minimum 10 years of experience, with 5+ in supply chain management. You will lead the S&OP process, coordinate Commercial, Operations, Finance and Supply Chain stakeholders, develop demand and inventory plans, and drive continuous improvement and performance

Qualifications

• MBA required in Supply Chain, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with 5+ in supply chain or related roles.
• Direct experience leading mature Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Strong Excel, data analysis, and ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve the S&OP process across multiple facilities.
• Engage senior leadership and align priorities.
• Run monthly S&OP cycle: demand and supply planning.
• Resolve demand issues via cross-functional collaboration.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support supply chain initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Develop demand plans from business trends.
• Improve inventory performance and meet targets.
• Publish metrics to measure planning effectiveness.
• Coordinate waste flow with Commercial and Operations.
• Produce weekly reports and dashboards.
• Drive S&OP best practices and training.
