Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business or related field required.
• Five or more years’ experience in risk management position.
• One or more years’ supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of federal/state/local laws and accrediting standards preferred.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze actual and potential risks in the facility; assess liability and probability of legal action.
• Implement incident reporting system and risk management program across the facility.
• Develop infrastructures and systems to support patient safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure procedures are followed by all employees.
• Monitor program performance data to determine effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Oversee QAPI program development and coordination for the facility.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and state licensure requirements.
• Provide staff management including hiring, development, training and performance management.
• Serve as a resource for risk management, policy development and compliance initiatives.
