Physicians Regional Medical Center seeks a Director of Risk Management to lead risk, safety, and regulatory programs across the facility. You will work with hospital leadership, departments, and legal counsel to drive proactive risk mitigation and governance.

The role emphasizes policy development, incident reporting, and staff education to foster a culture of safety and compliance within a complex healthcare environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field required or four (4) plus years of direct experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Master's Degree preferred for advanced leadership responsibilities.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in risk management within healthcare or a related field is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and manages the facility's risk management program and evaluates risks in patient care and service delivery.
• Develops and updates policies to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Leads patient safety initiatives, including root cause analyses and quality improvement efforts.
• Provides education on risk management practices and incident reporting to staff.
• Manages claims and litigation processes with legal counsel and maintains documentation.
• Develops and presents risk-related reports to administration and governance bodies.
