Job summary

MACOM is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Director to lead a multi-site organization for RF and microwave semiconductor assembly. The role focuses on manufacturing excellence through process optimization, automation, and new technology implementation to meet quality, delivery, and cost goals.

The successful candidate will lead Manufacturing, Process, and Equipment Engineering teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure scalable operations aligned with customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required.
• Experience leading engineering managers and cross-functional technical teams is essential.
• Experience in RF Microwave semiconductor assembly or related high‑reliability industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, and Equipment Engineering teams across multiple sites.
• Drive process optimization, automation, new technology implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure scalable, efficient processes meeting quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Support new product introductions and production transfers.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and process innovations.
