Job summary

MACOM is seeking a Product Engineer, RF/MMIC, to support the development and production release of RF and microwave semiconductor products. You will work with cross-functional teams on product characterization, data analysis, test development, yield improvement, and new product introductions.

The role involves collaboration with Management, Design, Test, and Manufacturing to enable successful product launches and sustaining support, with emphasis on RF/microwave technologies.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/RF engineering or related discipline.
• Fundamental knowledge of semiconductor devices, analog/RF circuits, and measurement equipment.
• Experience with RF design, electronics testing, MATLAB, Python, JMP, LabVIEW or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support product development from engineering samples to production launch.
• Analyze production and characterization data to drive improvements.
• Develop and validate production test plans.
• Support RF and microwave measurements in the lab.
• Assist in root-cause investigations for issues in product/test/manufacturing.
• Contribute to yield improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
