James Avery Jewelry in Cedar Park, TX, is seeking a Director, HR Business Partner – Retail to shape a positive workplace culture while guiding growth and effectiveness across operating sites and market locations. This role provides strategic leadership and partners with senior leaders to drive organizational goals through targeted HR initiatives.

You will oversee Associate Relations, staffing, performance management, talent acquisition and HR program rollout, with travel to manufacturing sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR or related field.
• 8 years’ related experience across HR including associate relations, talent acquisition, performance management.
• 5 years’ experience in a leadership role.
• Strong client relationship skills with senior/mid-level leaders.
• Experience leading organizational transformation and change across locations.
• Knowledge of US employment laws and regulations.
• Financial acumen and ability to use data to drive decisions.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS.
• Willingness to travel to local markets as needed.

Responsabilités

• Strategic Leadership: develop workforce and people strategies aligned to business needs and lead a team.
• Business Partnership: partner with senior leaders to deliver HR solutions including talent management and engagement.
• Data-Driven Insights: use workforce analytics to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Associate and Leader Engagement: travel to manufacturing sites/markets to foster collaboration.
• People and HR Program Advocacy: design and roll out talent initiatives with minimal disruption.
• Associate Relations: guide leadership on relations, staffing, and performance management.
• Talent Acquisition and Development: assess talent needs and onboarding strategies.
• HR Service Delivery: work with HR Shared Services to deliver programs effectively.
