Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• At least seven years of relevant supervisory and administrative experience.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities across organizational boundaries.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse faculty and staff.
• Excellent organizational, detail-oriented, and dependable.
• Strong written and oral communication; capable of coordinating multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee Center operations and strategic direction.
• Supervise direct reports.
• Engage with faculty, external partners, and stakeholders.
• Establish relationships with campus units responsible for research security (EHS, DPSS, ITS, etc.).
• Form and manage a core advisory group and ensure action items are followed up.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative units (OGC, Provost, CIO) to coordinate initiatives.
• Monitor federal/state regulatory updates and national trends in compliance.
• Interact with regulators and ensure ongoing regulatory adherence.
• Oversee Center communications and education programs; prepare periodic reports.
