Job summary

FINRA is seeking a Director of Business Operations in Transparency Services to join a leadership team driving short- to mid-term operational plans. You will advise senior leaders on regulatory issues and influence external markets while managing a team and coaching staff.

The role leads real-time overnight responses to market halts and regulatory inquiries, coordinating with Market Regulation, OGC, and external institutions to ensure alignment with risk-management strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; minimum of ten years securities industry experience.
• Minimum of two years supervising projects and mentoring staff.
• Expert knowledge of equity market structure, including OTC trading and TRFs.
• Experience leading real-time market or regulatory operations, including incident management.

Responsibilities

• Lead real-time overnight response to market halts, trade breaks, and extraordinary conditions.
• Advise senior leaders on regulatory issues and contribute to risk management strategy.
• Direct staff in investigation workflows and regulatory intelligence reviews across multiple sources.
